Job Description

Mother Teresa Foundation Canada is looking for a Wills & Legacy Giving Writer to help create clear, respectful, and professional content about legacy giving, planned donations, and charitable gifts.

This role is ideal for someone with strong writing skills who can explain donation opportunities in a simple and compassionate way. The writer will help prepare website content, donor letters, brochures, campaign materials, and educational information related to legacy giving.

Responsibilities

• Write content about legacy giving, planned donations, and charitable gifts.
• Help create website content, brochures, letters, and donor information materials.
• Explain how supporters can leave a charitable gift in a respectful and easy-to-understand way.
• Assist with donor communication and legacy giving campaign content.
• Work with the foundation team to prepare professional and compassionate written materials.
• Research examples of nonprofit legacy giving content for inspiration and best practices.
• Ensure all written content is clear, respectful, and aligned with the foundation’s mission.

Qualifications

• Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.
• Professional and respectful writing style.
• Good research and organization skills.
• Ability to explain information clearly and simply.
• Interest in charity, donations, nonprofit work, and community service.
• Experience with legal, estate, donor, or nonprofit writing is an asset, but not required.
